Midweek Joke

Something that my colleague forwarded to me and I thought it was quite hilarious when I read it – the title reads “Adult Questions and Answers just for Fun”. It's a long mail and most of the questions and answers read something like this…

Q: What goes in dry, comes out wet, and gives warm satisfaction?
A: A teabag.

Nothing too special but there’s one that I find interesting about -

The 7 qualities to be a perfect wife:
1. Beautiful
2. Responsible
3. Energetic
4. Adorable
5. Sweet
6. Truthful
7. Self Organized

And the 5 qualities to be a perfect husband:
1. Patience
2. Empathy
3. Nice
4. Intelligent
5. Secure

So in conclusion, a perfect match of partner will be a wife with good B.R.E.A.S.T.S and a husband with good P.E.N.I.S

Have a nice day !!!

My li'l Spur

Approximately 140 days ago, I placed a countdown for the moment I put my foot on the ‘Kiasu’ land. This countdown has been here for so long that it has become part of the ornamental in this page. To speak the truth, I haven’t been seeing it since the very first time I placed it in here, never will I think that it will make me excited by looking at it, like now! I’m so going to take my holiday!!

I’ll be away from Melbourne at this period of time - 28/01/09 to 13/03/09 which also mean that I won’t be updating this blog since I’ll be overly excited to type, neither do I have the time to do it and I’m so going to eat Bak Kut Teh everywhere!!! Right now, I can imagine the savory satisfaction when I first place the Bak Kut Teh into my mouth after months and days of cravings and you know, the taste have to be from that particular shop that you ate ever since young, how the pork melt in the mouth... etc!!

Geeezz, I really can’t sit still right now! Behold!! 5 more days~!~!

Have a good time everyone and wish me happy holidays!! Hehe~

Lemon Detox

Main Supplement of Lemon Detox

Yes! I’m on lemon detox program, Beyonce Knowles and Mariah Carey are a big fan of it! Nah they didn’t introduce it to me, but Warren did! Lemon Detox is aka the master cleanse of body toxins! The way it works is to drink only Natural Tree Syrup and Lemon drink that they provide for 7-10 days, no other food, no cigarette and no alcohol!! If you are interested, google “Lemon Detox” and there’ll be heaps of information and remember to read the articles about it as well. Until now, I do feel the increased of energy & vitality or the "rejuvenation sensation" but I’m hungry all time no matter how much I drink.

Ingredients for Lemon Detox

It’s irony – I started 6 days ago. First day I failed badly because I went to mount Dandenong and to all the places with good food! I failed but glad that I tried the best scone of my life (I’ll make another entry about my Dandenong Trip, haven’t got time to sort out the pictures). Second day, I was determined but still, failed even more miserably - I end up in a BBQ lunch party, a delicious Japanese Restaurant during dinner, and slight beer session in a friend’s place with some ciggies at night!! When the third day comes, I managed to pull through it following the rules – I thought after I did the formal way for one day, I won’t feel as much cravings during the next day. But, I’m so wrong!! I end up cheating a poached egg on the fourth day - pathetic!! When the fifth day comes, I decided not to eat but I actually took half a ciggy – it definitely feels like heaven! I think that amount won’t affect the program and It's irritating to have the same taste in the mouth for the whole blardy day - anyway I’m still starving now!! I’ve decided again, today will be my last day and will start eating normally once I wake up tomorrow! I can’t wait!! I’m already thinking what I‘m going to eat for my breakfast!!!

= DETOX FAIL =
BUT SOMEHOW IT FEELS GOOD!!
& THE LEMON DETOX JUICE IS ABSOLUTELY NICE TO DRINK!!

I just started work again and haven’t got much time to make entries lately, many things need to be done since I’ll be going off for holidays in 3 weeks time.

Wooohooo~ I’ll post again!

Sleep Disease

I think this spring is quite twisted, summer is near yet the weather is gloomy and almost raining all the time. The leaf doesn’t seem so green, the flower doesn't seem so bright, and I’m so dull all the time, with my Garfield eyes as if I haven't sleep for 300 years.

At this moment, I wish I could…

And happily become the sleeping Macho~!

Dream vs Reality

Sometimes when I was trying to wake up for work/school, my brain will make up some silly dreams. It happens once in a blue moon, but irritating enough to cause frustration. For example, this morning I dreamt that I’m in the office working when I’m still asleep~ so what happen was, when my alarm rings, I switched it off right away before I realized and my brain goes “Okay, I’ll call them back when I’m free since I really want to finish up this job first!” DENG!!! With eyes closed and a hardworking scene in my head... Happily the dream went on~!!
This is not the first time, so I have multiple alarms set at different time to poke me up and keep me on time for work. The worst dream happened was, I thought I woke up, brushed my teeth, showered and got into my clothes but when the next moment comes, I’m still happily drooling on my bed and will have to do everything again - just like Dejavu~

It’s always good to set clock 15 minutes ahead of current time.

Monblue n Linda's Bday

I’ll give myself a few 2 more minutes before I wake up and ready up for work whenever it’s Monday! Today is the worst I think, I’m soO tired!! I hate it when my body clock couldn’t re-adjust/recover from my weekend parties. Well, hopefully Tiffany had a pleasant Birthday celebration last Saturday night.

I managed to get my ass to office on time - I look awake, eyes open and smiling but in fact until now I’m still half awake!! My brain is reluctant to think today, I can’t be bothered to give proper answers to my leader’s question and I’m glad he’s a person who’ll answer his own questions, all I did was listen and nod my head today.

Today’s weather sucks big time, after the frost rain last Saturday, even the Sun in Melbourne got slack! The whole day is soO cold and moody, I even feel like I’m in my dream right now!!! I think I better go get some food and shower then off to sleep~

But before that, Happy Birthday Linda! Have a great one and hope you won’t get another bouquet of nightmare blue roses this time~

Husband & Wife Stores

Midweek humour...

A store that sells new husbands has opened in New York City , where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates:

You may visit this store ONLY ONCE! There are six floors and the value of the products increase as the shopper ascends the flights. The shopper may choose any item from a particular floor, or may choose to go up to the next floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building!

So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband. On the first floor the sign on the door reads:

Floor 1 - These men Have Jobs.

She is intrigued, but continues to the second floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 2 - These men Have Jobs and Love Kids.

'That's nice,' she thinks, 'but I want more.'
So she continues upward. The third floor sign reads:

Floor 3 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, and are Extremely Good Looking.

'Wow,' she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 4 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Good Looking and Help With Housework.

'Oh, mercy me!' she exclaims, 'I can hardly stand it!'
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and the sign reads:

Floor 5 - These men Have Jobs, Love Kids, are Drop-dead Gorgeous, Help with Housework, and Have a Strong Romantic Streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor, where the sign reads:

Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor. There are no men on this floor. This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please. Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.

PLEASE NOTE:

To avoid gender bias charges, the store's owner opened a New Wives store just across the street.
The first floor has wives that are beautiful and love sex.

The second floor has wives that are beautiful, love sex, have money and like beer.

The third, fourth, fifth and sixth floors have never been visited.

Enjoy!!

Exhaustion

My hard-disk corrupted and I lost all my files – nice movies and series that I’ve collected, recent photos, a lot a lot of songs and all my favorites!! Actually it was quite magical – my hard-disk is 500GB and after it corrupts, it shows 800GB when I was trying to format it (No idea how that happens). I wanted my files back, so out of frustration, I spent USD $99 online and got myself a Windows recovery program (Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery). It seems reliable - after it scans through my corrupted disk and YES, it managed to detect all my files – I was excited to recover them. But again! Life is always unexpected, it successfully retrieves all my files but all of them reads corrupted and can’t be open, not even a single file works!! So basically, I wasted my time and money on it~

The program offers a few ways to recover the data, they are all easy and user-friendly but doing it is hectic and time consuming! I was desperate so I tried all the ways from the program and took me blardy 7 days to do it! Yet still, all the results are futile!! After depressing about it for a while, I decide to give up – I’m glad I still have my backup copy of all my old photos…

I haven’t got time to write after my PC screwed up so I’m going to spend some time now to summarize some of the things I did for the past few weeks~

1. Tiffany & Min Min finally managed to find a new place…

2. Warren organized a Merdeka BBQ party

I took heaps of nice photos during that night and made a clean transfer of those photos to that corrupted hard disk before it was corrupted! How sad, now I lost all the original files and can’t show all my elite shots in here… Anyway I’m not the only one with camera that night so I’m still able to get some of the photos~

3. Jane’s Farewell

I know Jane since I was 10 if I’m not wrong, and it happens that we both came to Melbourne and occasionally will join each other for KTV session. Something I don’t like about farewell, the environment always get moody with some crying here and there and something I like about farewell party, I get to picture with someone crying. Yeah so on the same night after Warren’s BBQ, I went straight to Jane’s Farewell party in Glenwaverly Red-Box and kiss Jane goodbye…

Woohooo~, Falls Creek Australia by Kieny How, on Flickr

I reached home from Falls Creek at 12.30am Sunday night with:

• Bruises on both ankles
• Soar back
• Weak wrist
• Soar shoulder
• Heavy neck
• Tired Brain and eyes

Basically all my muscles are torn except for my face muscles; even after I crashes my face several times onto the snow ground! Conclusion – I have a thick face!

Great weekend and Great Falls Creek!!

'Fate' is The Word

Wooohooo!! Just confirmed by a technician from that frowning shop that I can’t collect my PC today! There’s a saying ‘the higher hope you put, the greater disappointment you’ll get’ – indeed!!

The dumb technician called and said someone accidentally sold the graphic card I bought~ now what? The whole blardy MSY is so big and they have so many branches all around Melbourne and they told me it’s out of stock!! The whole Melbourne ran out of stock on me… so cool~

Previously, I said I wanted to assemble the parts myself if I have to wait for 1 week and didn’t do it because of my ATM card issue. The reason is that I’m afraid they’ll sell those parts to others first since they know I’m buying it for sure – and now, it really happens! Probably it’s my fate~ did I mention that the same thing happens to me for my television as well? My camera was a bit different – the package came with a faulty battery and I have to wait for one week to get it change after the date of purchase. The television that was reserved under my name in JB HI-FI was sold to someone else when I went to collect. Then I waited for blardy 2 hours and finally decided to get the display set for $50 discount since I can’t be bothered anymore on that time! Ha! All I can say is - I simply ‘love’ the service in Australia!!

Anyway MSY told me to wait for the stock to come, it’s either I’ll buy it somewhere else if it’s as cheap or wait until next Monday! I’m not even buying a computer that fly and I have to wait for 2 weeks! Even a new-born baby bird can fly after two weeks!

I didn't want to mention this but might as well contribute to the fun. I drove to JB HI-FI to collect the TV that day and I parked at one of the lot right in front of the shop; the store is located in the city so it's pretty strict for car park. I was waiting and talking to the salesman but I watch the time, and I’ll never expect to win a parking ticket!! I was just 5 minutes late when I got back to the car with my TV, and then I saw a ticket reading infringement fee: $57.00 on the front window - they fine me after 3 minutes of over park!!

What ELSE can I say?

Time Change Price

Every morning, I’ll repeat the same sentence to myself – Shit, this is so freaking cold!! And my greatest reluctant is to pull myself out of my warm comfy bed, into the cold living room, then to the freezing street… Sometimes I wish I could snug a heater into my jacket or maybe wear something like that~

Easy Job

But I don't have such a beautiful eyes... (It must be easy to make up for your eyes only)

Talking about this winter! I’ve spent most of the time in my own cubbyhole; especially during raining time, snug in the doona and move around the house like a walking dumpling… Damn winter sure make me lazier!!

August 08’ is coming soon aka the Olympic month and I demand for some changes for my lifestyle; of course I’ll still be working everyday and welcoming Friday but out of my own determination, I decide to go jogging at least twice a week – I thought I should go out and enjoy the neighbourhood beauty since I stay in suburb area rather than snugging here and there all day; my bones are getting rusty… So last night, I snuck up my clean-white sport outfit and ran one big loop off my neighbourhood, the feeling is just great!!! I also came across a small park and saw 2 petite kids (around age 5) in red outfit playing around with a ball, from the distance I’m looking at them, it looks like 2 red dots moving around in a really cute way – then I know I’m missing my babies again… Sometimes when I call home, I’ll talk to them for a while and they always sound so energetic like they are ready for some big actions but in fact it’s their bed time~

Anyway I’ve been nagging a lot about my PC in here lately, and finally one more day to go before I get to use a proper computer (yes I'm counting down even though I try not to!!). I’ve been surveying the parts and prices for a while and 6 weeks ago, I got these parts at these prices:

(Processor) Intel E8400 3.00 Ghz- $253.00
(Mother Board) Asus P5E3 Deluxe WIFI - $349.00
(Casing) Thermaltake Soprano RS100 Full Tower (w/o Power Supply) - $153.00
(VGA Card) 512M 9800GTX Leadtek - $405.00
(Optical Drive) Asus SATA DVD-RW - $35.00
(Memory) Asus 2G Kit (2x1 GB) DDR3 - $299.00
Total - $1494.00

And now they all worth:

(Processor) Intel E8400 3.00 Ghz - $189.00
(Mother Board) Asus P5E3 Deluxe WIFI - $275.00
(Casing) Thermaltake Soprano RS100 Full Tower (w/o Power Supply) - $145.00
(VGA Card) 512M 9800GTX Leadtek - $263.00
(Optical Drive) Asus SATA DVD-RW - $33.00
(Memory) Asus 2G Kit (2x1 GB) DDR3 - $110.00
Total - $1015.00

So I upgraded them to:

(Processor) Intel E8500 3.16 Ghz - $299.00
(Mother Board) Asus P5Q3 Deluxe WIFI (EPU) P45 DDR3 - $275.00
(Casing) Thermaltake Soprano RS100 Full Tower (w/o Power Supply) - $145.00
(VGA Card) 512M 9800GTX Leadtek - $263.00
(Optical Drive) Asus SATA DVD-RW - $33.00
(Memory) Asus 4G Kit (2x2 GB) DDR3 - $245.00
Total - $1260.00

Look at the price difference; can you imagine that I can save $479.00 for the same parts after 6 weeks difference?! I know~ and all I want now is to get something good that’ll last me a good 5 years without any changes...

Hopefully~ things will go accordingly...

MSY Box Hill & The Glitch of My Life

I just got back from Box Hill MSY, the busiest computer shop in Melbourne. After lining up the world-famous queue, I finally got to speak to the world most ‘lansi’ PC Hong Kong salesman; they will have the biggest smile to an Aussie and greatest frown to an Asian but still I have to go to them since they are one of the cheapest store around~

I’m excited after work as I’m getting my new PC today so I went over to MSY; point them all the parts I want, get the end amount and ask them to assemble for me for 70 bucks. Well, screwing up my new PC by assembling it myself is something I won't want, so I’m cool with paying them to get the job done BUT they can only give me on next Wednesday since they claim that they are ‘veli buzy’ - I was looking to get it this weekend and pay when I get it that time…

So with my impatient decision, I told them I’ll do it myself instead. Then they took a while to collect all the parts for me and then they show me the bill. It’s not too expensive but it exceeds a few hundreds more than a thousand. I have 20 bucks and an ATM card in my wallet, credit card sitting at home and their shop is closing in 5 minutes time so I pass my ATM card to that super 'lansi' salesman and WooooHoooo~ - ‘transaction rejected’ - my ATM only allows 1000 bucks. So I look at him and he stare at me, now what?? His greatest frown turn into bitterest gourd!! Shit happens~

So now I ended up typing happily from my 0.2-second lag lap top~ it looks miserable like its going to turn off on me again…

Anyway a quick short update, I just got a new Sony TV this week!! Tee hee~ the model is KDL32V4000 - Sony Bravia 2 technology ‘V’ Series 32” Full HD LCD TV; it’s a good offer for $1849 in JB Hi-Fi and it comes with a bonus free PS3 – this is what attracts me! I went through the finance and got it for an instalment of 1-year interest free, so that I don’t pay more than the amount I’m supposed to at the end of the day and I walk away with the TV without paying anything on the date of purchase – happy man I was!! So I’m using it as my PC TV, I hope it works well and no more 0.2-second lag~

It’s getting late and I’m going to have my dinner now, I’ll try to update as much as I can as I want to put more things in here so if one day I happen to forget everything, I still have this space to remind me what happen. Pessimistic isn’t it? But who knows what might happen, I always forget things like name of friends who lost contact with me for a long time; I’m just not good at remembering names. Life can be quite a glitch sometimes; I remember very clearly about things I want to forget but always forget things that I want to remember!!!

Forget it, for now I just need to EAT~

Time for a new one

Last night, there's sparkle around the power supply and “Poof!” there goes my P4 2.8…

I know it’s time for Core 2 duo and some outside activities~ No more series…

Australia Lotto Dream

First joke of the day:

Second joke of the day:

So much to do... Yet McDonald's~

Today in office, I received an email from a friend who works in Commonwealth Bank and the content is:

I am organizing the Powerball for this Thursday (50 million biggest Jackpot ever).

Entry - $5 dollars each for those who interested.

The idea is to pool one big sum of funds and buy as many pick as possible to increase the winning chance;
Powerball~ very attractive!

Ever since I learnt about Australia Lotto, I’ve been yearning for it; hoping that one day, I’ll win a big one but reality always brings disappointment – the biggest I’ve won is AU$50 and it never happen again despite how many times I try. So, that pathetic 50 bucks become a valuable memory to me. I bought that Lotto ticket together with Eddie; I won the cash and he won a dinner so at least, we are not a Lotto Loser~

$50 bucks into pocket comes true and million bucks becomes a dream topic...

50 million dollars!! What is the first thing that you will do if you win?!
50 Million!! Powerball
Can you handle it?

I will Thank God first!!
